Diez Vistas & Buntzen Lake Loop

Join us for a scenic and challenging hike combining the Diez Vistas Trail with the beautiful Buntzen Lake Loop. The route climbs through forested terrain and includes several scenic viewpoints overlooking Buntzen Lake, Indian Arm, and the surrounding mountains. The steepest section includes a series of switchbacks before reaching the viewpoints. This is a longer hike, so please come prepared with proper hiking footwear, enough water, snacks or lunch, and clothing suitable for changing weather conditions. We’ll hike as a group and take breaks at some of the viewpoints along the way. We will meet near the bus stop at the Buntzen Lake Recreation Area before starting the hike.
