Hillsborough River State Park – Baynard & Rapids Trails Saturday, October 3, 2026 8:15 AM – Step off Parking Lot 3 15402 US Highway 301 N, Thonotosassa, FL 33592 $6 per vehicle (up to 8 people) Join us for a Saturday morning hike at Hillsborough River State Park! We'll explore the Baynard Trail and the currently accessible portion of the Rapids Trail, enjoying the beautiful scenery along the Hillsborough River. The park opens at 8:00 AM. We'll meet in Parking Lot 3 and be ready to step off at 8:15 AM. Trail conditions: I checked out the trails Sunday morning, and they weren't too wet. However, conditions will depend on rainfall leading up to our hike. Be prepared for possible mud, wet areas and changes to our planned route.
